I'm just a stalk in the field,
A shoot stirred by morning's breathe
Earth! Enough I should be a stem,
Stirring under a blue canopy,
To be measured by your greatness!

Breeze, soft flowing,
Descended onto the grass from above
Eternity! Enough for me to be such a breeze,
Endless, as are you!

Until earth parts from warmth,
And sun turns away its face,
Enough to be a tiny part,
But like you, universe, already great!
