Call for Contributions

Cardinal Points is an annual literary journal focusing on Slavic literature. We seek prose, poetry, and essays in translation, as well as essays on the art of translation.

Please consult previous issues of the journal, as well as our pre-submission guidelines for translated poetry, in order to get a sense of our editorial preferences. And do make sure you have permission to publish translations of work that remains under copyright. Unfortunately, we are not in a position to pay our contributors, or to purchase rights.

The submission period for each issue begins on November 1 and ends on March 15.
