Celeste Miller has been a New York City public school teacher for 7 years, following a lengthy career in financial technology sales and recruiting. In 2003, as a participant in the New York City Teaching Fellows program, she began teaching art to 5-12 year olds with autism, developmental delays and emotional handicaps at a small public school in East Harlem, simultaneously earning her Masters Degree in Education.
In 2006, she joined the staff of the Professional Performing Arts School, where she works as a Learning Specialist. PPAS, a 6-12th grade school for talented young performing artists, is located in the heart of the Broadway theater district in midtown Manhattan.
